, it turns out this is important to us. what i've said to prime minister netanyahu is that given so far the talks are moving forward in a constructive way, it makes sense to extend that moratorium so long as the talks are moving in a constructive way. because, ultimately, the way to solve these problems, is for the two sides to agree what's it going to be, israel? what's it going to be, the state of palestinian. and if you can get that agreement, then you can start constructing anything that the people of israel see fit. in undisputed areas. now, i think the politics for prime minister netanyahu are very difficult. his coalition, i think, there are a number of members of his coalition who said we don't want to continue this. and one of the things that i've said to president abbas is, you've got to show the israeli public that you are serious and constructive in these talks so that the politics for prime minister netanyahu, if he were to extend the settlements moratorium, would be a little bit easier. and, you know, one of the goals i think that i've set for myself and for my team is to

information for us. bob? >> reporter: katie, i was just thinking as you commented there about the various planes involved. the one that we know of so far, because it's confirmed by american airlines, is that that flight 11 which had been scheduled from boston's logan airport to los angeles,that flight 11 was hijacked this morning. and it is presumed that that may thatbeen one of the planes went into one of the towers of the world trade center. there were at least two more planes involved in this because the other tower was hit. and then the pentagon was also there were eyewitness accounts th it was a plane that went into the pentagon. but so far we don't know the sources of those planes, whether they were commercial planes that had been hijacked, whether they were private planes, whether they had been hijacked at all. and i would point out the report from somerset county, pennsylvania, is so far just local authorities commenting. the faa has not confirmed that crash. so we're waiting to hear more, and i'm hearing just now -- >> bob -- confirming, so this adds to those earlier rumors, tha
